First Term of Our Dealer Technical Training Programme Completed

The first term of the training programme we launched for the technical teams of our dealers and partner workshops is complete. Delivered in three sessions, the programme was attended by more than 70 technicians and sales staff.

Programme content

Module 1 — Brake system diagnosis. Lining and drum measurement techniques, slack adjuster stroke checks, air system leak testing, and the practical meaning of ECE R90 certification. The session was supported by hands-on measurement work on real components.

Module 2 — Emissions systems. How SCR and DPF systems work on Euro 5 and Euro 6 vehicles, the effect of AdBlue quality on catalyst life, diagnosing crystallisation-related faults, and managing regeneration cycles correctly. This module drew the most questions from participants.

Module 3 — Suspension and correct part selection. Comparing air suspension and leaf spring systems, recognising bellows and bushing failure symptoms, and practical part identification using the cross-reference database.

Why this programme

Reviewing our after-sales support requests, we found that a significant share of issues stemmed not from part quality but from incorrect diagnosis or faulty fitting. Applying the right part incorrectly produces both customer dissatisfaction and an unnecessary returns process. This programme is aimed squarely at closing that gap.

Participant feedback

In the evaluations collected at the end of the programme, the most requested topics were common-rail fuel systems and high-voltage safety on electric commercial vehicles. Both have been added to the second term.

Second term

Second-term training is being planned regionally, hosted at our branches, so that dealers in more distant provinces face lower participation costs. The schedule and enrolment terms will be announced through dealer representatives.
